Like posted on Instagram, I recently received a package from ChicDesire Brushes, which is a new start up company in Switzerland. So new that their official website is still under construction. The business Owner emailed me asking me for my personal opinion on her products. I was not asked to do a review, but more so look at the products and give her my feedback. I decided to post about these brushes because WOW they are honestly so much more than I expected.
The packaging as seen above is almost identical to Sigma’s high end brushes. The leather case is perfect for traveling and keeping brushes clean. Although there is no logo in the front of the case, I still think that it is beautiful and professional. Im also assuming that the no logo in the front is actually helping the consumer get it for a bit less pricey because the more detail from the manufacturer, the more expensive the company needs to sell it to gain profit. OR this might just be a sample of how the product is looking like so far! They have not launched just yet!
The picture above, shows a close up of the logo on the brushes inside of the professional case. One thing that I noticed was that the label was not engraved, but printed. This does not bother me because it only means that it turns out a bit more inexpensive for the consumer. To put it simply, engraving the brushes means more cost to making the brushes, which overall means that the product will turn out much more expensive just because of that simple detail. This does not affect the quality of the hair on the brushes. The hair is so soft and the brushes that need to be dense are!
The Logo on these were also printed! These brushes seemed very sturdy and long lasting. I saw no shedding when feeling the hair on the brushes and I saw no signs of glue or signs of poor manufacturing!
However the brushes above , seemed higher quality because of the weight of the brushes, as well as the noticeable engraving of the logo! Although I am not aware of the prices, I can only assume these are pricier! I cannot wait to use this stippling brush, it seems perfect for foundation or any liquid application!
